Our youth group met on January 7 and January 21 and had a great time together! We enjoyed sharing dinner, playing games, and welcoming new faces who joined us for the first time. It was wonderful to see the group grow and to spend time building friendships.
During our devotion time, we talked about the difference between being smart and being wise. We looked at the lives of Solomon and David, discussing how wisdom comes from God and how He calls us to use the gifts He has given us in ways that honor Him. The conversations encouraged our students to think about how they can apply God’s wisdom in their everyday lives.
In February, we’ll be meeting on the 4th and 18th. On the 18th, we’ll be providing the Soup Supper meal for the Ash Wednesday service.
