May was busy for our Bible School and Confirmation programs. The children made a beautiful Mother’s Day gift for their moms on April 30th! They not only had fun doing so, but it was a good break for all of us to let our imagination work to paint our flowerpots. We certainly hope all of the moms enjoyed their early gift! The next week, we practiced for our Youth Led Worship, which I cannot say enough about. I am always so amazed at how well the children carry themselves. They are delighted to participate in the worship service! And we ended our year at the Egg Harbor Fun Park again! A huge thank you to Mark and Tami for donating their time, snack, and all of the fun for the children! This night is a great way to end the year.
I want to personally thank EVERYONE who has helped make this another successful year of Bible School andConfirmation. There are many helping hands ~ teachers, musicians, organizers, and snack-makers. You all play a special role to keep this going. I was reminded each and every time I looked to plan a week, that so many took time to enrich these children’s lives. Not only are we blessed to be a part of this small community we call Door County, but I am thankful to be a part of even a smaller community we call Immanuel. Thank you again for all of your help throughout my years as the Youth Education Coordinator.

This past year, our Confirmation class has journeyed together in faith, deepening their understanding of God, the Church, and what it means to live as a disciple of Christ in today’s world. On May 18th we joyfully celebrated Calvin Schwab on his Confirmation! This marks a meaningful milestone in his journey of faith. We are so proud of you, Calvin, and look forward to seeing how your faith continues to flourish!
